What's On In The Regions

Dear Friends,

Whakatane Heritage Rose Group AGM.

When: Saturday 4th May 2024

Where: at Elysse’s and Allan’s

Time 1pm

Please bring a plate to share for afternoon tea.

Elysse and Allan have invited us to their place for the AGM, which I have happily accepted . They have a splendid table which we can all sit around, carry out the business of the AGM and then share an afternoon tea. We will have a walk around the garden at some stage of the afternoon and see which roses are blooming.

April is a good time to take rose cuttings. Bring along a cutting or two of your favourite heritage rose to share. If anyone would like a cutting of a particular rose, please let me know and I will try to find a member who has the rose. We can discuss what methods we use for growing cuttings and talk about the successes we have had.

For further details please ph. 021 231 5716

I look forward to seeing you all there.

Liz
